Sain to return to Griz roots
Whether he played football in the rural Montana town where he was born or prepped at one of the nation’s top high school programs – either way, Cole Sain was bound to be a Griz.
Sain, whose family moved from Darby to Riverside, Calif., when he was nine years old, will circle back to his roots after committing to play Montana football last week.
The six-foot-4, 286-pound offensive lineman will graduate this year from St. John Bosco Prep in nearby Bellflower, Calif., where he played a lead role on the nationally ranked Trinity League powerhouse.
