Give the Gift of Local
It’s a special time of year where pie with breakfast and pie for dinner aren’t as frowned upon. To celebrate the season of pie and giving the ESPN1029 wants to challenge our listeners to shop local this holiday season. Our local businesses are a part of what makes our community so special. When you spend money locally, you make a big difference in the lives of folks right here in our community. Every purchase you make with a local vendor keeps more money locally. When you ‘vote’ with your dollars those dollars make a difference, in helping a local business hire more employees, investing in our communities future.
If only half of our residents spent $100 locally this holiday season, we’d pump over $3 million back into our local economy!
As a locally owned and small business ourselves we are challenging our listeners and ourselves to spend $100 locally this holiday season! Let’s support small businesses and in turn help our community. Thanks to our local partners in the Give the Gift of Local challenge: Conflux Taphouse, Meadowsweet Herbs, Skin Chic, Park Side Credit Union, FLOAT Missoula, Art Attic Framing & Design, The Olive Branch, Upcycled, Lake Missoula Tea, Bob Ward’s Sports & Outdoors, Back to the Mother Kombucha and Tried and True Tint.
As you shop at locally owned businesses this holiday season, save your receipts, snap a pic of them and upload said pic with your information to our handy dandy SHOP LOCAL GIVEAWAY FORM RIGHT HERE!
We’ll round up all the entries and select a winner December 27th for an $800 dollar grand prize shop local package including $50 gift cards and product from our sponsors. We hope you will connect with our sponsors for great gift ideas, this holiday season!
