Big Sky Power Rankings: Part 1

With September in the bank, the race for the Big Sky Conference football title has a bit more clarity.

A Montana schedule that does not include contests against fellow FCS playoff contenders Weber State and Eastern Washington looks like a tremendous advantage for the Griz. Meanwhile, Montana State is balancing its crucial Week 1 win over Western Illinois with losses to FCS powerhouses South Dakota State and Eastern Washington.

This week, Skyline Sports opens its Big Sky Conference power rankings – the first of an eight-part series. Rankings are based on strength of schedule, quality of wins and most recent performance.
