Griz dominate final three quarters in 59-20 win over Idaho State

MISSOULA, Montana — For about 45 minutes on Saturday afternoon, it looked like the former pupils might thrash their former mentor.

Griz finish strong in 47-27 win over Monmouth

MISSOULA, Montana — The Grizzlies could never quite seize the momentum in the first half against Monmouth despite a few slick trick plays that led to touchdowns and an electric kick return for a score by Malik Flowers.

Coming out of the halftime locker room, No. 19 Montana continued its trend of dominating the early portion of the third quarter, scoring on its first possession, getting a stop, and scoring again.

MISSOULA, Montana — It’s 7 a.m. on the first day of Jerry Louie-McGee’s career as a Montana Grizzly. And he’s late.

Because of a glitch in his eligibility, the wide receiver from Coeur d’Alene by way of tiny Worley, Idaho did not get to participate in fall camp in 2015 in Missoula. He could not join the Griz until school began several weeks after Montana opened its first fall camp under head coach Bob Stitt.
