Griz harbor unknowns with No. 13 Panthers coming to Missoula

The Montana football team will kick off its second go-round with Bobby Hauck calling the plays this Saturday night versus No. 13 Iowa State with a collection of unknowns looming.

Bacaj-Dalton-Sneed-high-knees-1000x829Will the Big Sky’s preseason Defensive Player of the Year Josh Buss suit up? Who will start under center for the Griz? Perhaps most important: Can Montana reattain the national reputation of one of college football’s most storied programs?

Skyline Sports’ Andrew Houghton can’t answer those questions, but he can tell us a little about what to expect on the other side of the line of scrimmage. Click HERE for his “First Look” breakdown of Northern Iowa and what to expect from the Panthers on Saturday night.

Kickoff is set for 7 pm at Washington-Grizzly Stadium … be sure to tune in to 102.9 ESPN before and after the game for a complete analysis and breakdown from Missoula’s only LIVE daily sports team, Tootell & Nuanez.
